Upcoming Features
 The @LA Event Calendar is coming soon. The beta release should be available around January 1, 2003 and will allow anybody to submit or look for events for no charge. You will be able to look for events by browsing the monthly summaries and then clicking on a particular day to see detailed information about the day's events.

This is a beta version containing only a subset of planned features. We will be enhancing our calendar in the upcoming months. Look for these features.
  • search events by category
  • search events by location
  • links to web sites related to the event included in the description
  • full text search on event descriptions and titles
  • ability to add repeating events (e.g. user group meetings)
  • ability to be notified by e-mail about upcoming events in specfic categories or date ranges
  • provide events obtained from a variety of sources

    We are interested in your feedback. Feel free to make suggestions as to other ways that we can improve our calendar.
